About Us

Queer Kitty was created by a nonbinary queer person from Austin, TX, Evyn Lawrence. Evyn found that queer spaces and people always made him feel joyful and welcomed. In questioning phases, he discovered that finding products that represented the different identities he was questioning was difficult. Inspired by the joy and acceptance of queer spaces as well as the difficulty with representation in products, Evyn decided to create an online store where people could feel joy and find representation.

Evyn is passionate about supporting the queer community and hopes to be able to work with lots of queer and allied creators to feature their products in the Queer Kitty store someday soon. He is also passionate about mental health and hopes to be able to find a way to incorporate support for people who are homebound into future Queer Kitty endeavors. 

Evyn hopes visitors to Queer Kitty find items that make them smile and feel seen.
